Design with precision
This home offers an elegant take on contemporary kitchen design, based on a subtle balance of high-quality materials, rich colors, and integrated lighting. The kitchen stands out as the architectural heart of the home, designed as a functional and welcoming space that blends seamlessly with the living areas.
The consistency of materials at the heart of the project
The overall atmosphere is defined by shades of charcoal gray and warm grays, combined with veined stone surfaces. The matte finishes lend depth and understated elegance, while accents of brushed brass (handles, faucets, and details) add a subtle, refined warmth.
The contrast between the dark cabinets and the light natural stone surfaces defines the spatial layout while maintaining visual balance. The dark wood floor anchors the space and reinforces the project’s warm, residential character.
The lighting was designed as an extension of the architecture, and the coffered ceilings feature recessed fixtures that cast a uniform, comfortable light. Meanwhile, the light strips concealed beneath the cabinets and in the display cases accentuate the horizontal lines and highlight the materials.
Backlit glass cabinets showcase the glassware and tableware, while the linear pendant lighting above the island defines the space. The lighting allows the ambiance to be adjusted to suit different times of the day.
A design tailored to its intended use
The kitchen features full-height cabinets to maximize storage space and improve traffic flow. The appliances are seamlessly integrated, ensuring visual continuity and optimal ergonomics.
The kitchen island plays a key role: serving as a prep area, a place to get water, and a gathering spot, it becomes the hub around which daily life revolves.
