Borden project

Bright, organized and welcoming

Borden's project illustrates Grolle's expertise in luxury custom kitchens. Designed for a Montreal family, this project combines timeless elegance, organization and warmth. Every detail of the kitchen is optimized for practicality and comfort, whether preparing a meal or entertaining guests. In this way, the space combines functionality with aesthetic care.

From the moment you enter, Borden's project presents a peaceful atmosphere. The palette is based on a harmonious duo: lightly shaded cream fronts combined with honey-toned storage units. These nuances create a soft, welcoming ambience.

Large windows provide natural light that reflects off the surfaces of the island and backsplash, illuminating the room. In the evening, two hanging lights positioned above the island diffuse a subdued light, creating a warm, soothing atmosphere.

By combining refined details and professional functionality, Borden's project translates Grolle's promise to transform the kitchen into a true art of living. Every choice of ergonomics, every nuance of colour responds to everyday needs.

Multifunctional island

  • Work surface for cooking recipes, setting plates or working.

  • Secondary sink with retractable hand shower: practical for washing vegetables or rinsing extra dishes.

  • Island with space for four stools for breakfast, cocktails or an impromptu cooking class.

  • Concealed power supply: no more cables lying around when using the food processor or laptop.

Professional precision in the cooking area

The cooktop, set back from traffic areas, promotes safety while leaving the view to the dining room unobstructed. Directly above, the integrated hood visually disappears into a tone-on-tone casing. A wall-mounted folding arm, matching the handles, allows pots and pans to be filled directly on the stove: no more trips to the sink.

High-capacity storage

  • Full-height columns with adjustable shelves and invisible pull-outs: cereals, jars or robots all find their place.

  • Deep English-style drawers with compartments for pots, lids and serving dishes.

  • Backlit glass china cabinet: glasses and decorative objects become a delicate spectacle, protected from dust.

  • Walk-in pantry hidden behind a discreet door: coffee or meals can be prepared here without cluttering up the main space.

By combining refined details and professional functionality, Borden's project translates Grolle's promise to transform the kitchen into a true art of living. Every choice of ergonomics, every nuance of colour responds to everyday needs.
